Breakfast at Pusing Town

Last Weekend, Hunny and I met up with the SA group for a short trip to Papan (A small town in Perak) Herbal Garden and Waterfall Park. We met up first in Pusing (3 KM from Papan) to have breakfast first. Pusing is well known for their roast pork curry noodles but unfortunately we reached there late and had their normal fare instead. According to the rest who reached earlier, the roast pork was divine and their crackling skin was the BEST..

Here's what Hunny had....Chicken Feet Curry Wantan Noodles

Here's What I had...Wantan Mee with Char Siu and Dumplings. The char siu was juicy and tender without being too fatty...

A closer look....yummy...

Here's what we shared....Yong Tau Foo (abt 6 pieces)

The noodles were really yummy...no taste of alkaline in it. Alkaline is added to the noodles dough to make it have the "bite" but in this case, not only that we couldn't detect the tell tale alkaline taste, the noodles had that "bite" to it.

The total bill only came up to about RM12 plus 2 chinese teas...absolutely yummy and CHEAP!

I thought it is usually boric acid that is added to noodle!??
