Bunny eats at Zuup, 1 Utama

This was my 1st working Saturday of which Hunny was in 1U to shoot fashion show and I came later after work to join him. Hunny wasn't hungry so I went around looking for food. I came upon Zuup and decided to go in after reading rave reviews from bloggers such as babeinkl.

I had one of their all day set that came with a bowl of soup (Starter Size) and wedges at RM9.90 (RM10.90 nett). I ordered the Scotch Broth which consisted of yummy broth cooked with tender lamb meat, carrots, barley and some herbs. It was so hearty and totally comforting.

The wedges were delicious too! Fried to golden brown perfection with a crisp skin and super melt in mouth tenderness of the potatos inside.

Truly worth the visit to this special Zuup Cafe. I can't wait to try out the other soups on the menu too~~

Breakfast at O`Briens

Last Weekend, Hunny and I ate at O`Briens and it cost him close to a whopping RM55!!!

Here is what we had...

1. Mocha with a shamrock design...

2. I had a pot of soothing Earl Grey Tea

3. This is my shambo combi which was all veges and I added chicken that cost us an additional RM3.00...don't like this bread as I found it dry and not chewy...I'll go back to my fav wrappo the next time we eat here...

4. Hunny's fav triple decker chicken sandwich...chockful of veges and meat and turkey bacon...

5. Hunny bit this into a house shape...is it a sign that we have to buy a new house soon??

The reason y we eat in O`Briens is bec of the fresh ingredients and they don't stinge on the ingredients to make a wholesome sandwich...

O'Brien's and Midori with Hunny

My Hunny being concern about my diet of not getting enough vegies for my regular meals suggested that we eat at O'Briens for dinner last Thursday. Normally, I wouldn't eat there as a meal will cost around RM15 to RM20 depending on what one orders when I can pay half the amount on something local for a filling meal.

I was pleasantly suprised that the price we paid for these sandwiches were worth its value as O'Briens used really fresh and hygenic ingredients in ensuring a quality meal. As I am a small eater, I took a Spinach Wrappo with turkey ham and cranberry sauce.

The Spinach Wrappo with Turkey Ham and Cranberry Sauce. Very Yummy....light yet filling and I could taste the freshness of the ingredients...!!

Hunny's Sandwich. He said it was really nice too...!!

After that, we went Tesco to shop for our snacks to accompany us on our trip to Kuantan the next day.

We then went to Midori to have our desserts. I was greedy and wanted both the sundae and mango smoothie. Hunny solved it by ordering the Mango Smoothie for himself whilst I took the Mango Sundae.

As usual, the Mango Smoothie was just right. Thick and smooth and not too sweet...

Here comes my Mango Sundae. There were 2 types of ice cream - Soft serve and normal. Both ice cream types were not too sweet or creamy but they were light on my palate. However, I'd still prefer IKEA's soft serve ice cream as I prefer a creamier texture for soft serve ice cream.

I will strongly recommend you to order the Mango Smoothie for all of you who likes mangoes like I do if you do visit Midori at 1st Floor of Cineleisure, Mutiara Damansara. Yummy!!!

Dinner at Sister's House

I love having dinner at my sister's house. It's either their fantastic Indonesian maid cooking or my Brother In Law (BIL) cooking. My BIL is a talented cook. Last night, he cooked up one of his many feasts - Prawn Fettucini with a creamy base and roast beef. My sister does killer desserts and fantastic salads too but we had a bought dessert last night - Mille Crepes Cake from Nadeje Patisserie, Malacca.

Here are some pictures of the yummy food we had last night. Yums.

Prawn Fettucini With Creamy Sauce

A closer look. See the many many prawns...

Lovely Fresh Prawns

Salad

The highlight of dinner - Herb Encrusted Roast Beef...slightly medium rare although the well done was still tender and juicy

Dessert all the way from Malacca. Mille Crepe cake bought from Nadeje Pattiesserie which is owned by a Japanese Lady. Must book before buying a whole cake.

Delicious when served cold. The crepes layers were sandwiched with fresh cream. Not too sweet but each mouthful was pure indulgence of richness. They have other flavors. This is original Vanilla flavour. They are also available in Chocolate, Coffee, Strawberry, Green Tea and others.

Yums....!!!
