Kek Lok Tong at Ipoh

Over Wesak Day's long weekend, I went dating with my friend to Ipoh for a overnight trip. We left PJ at 6am and reached Ipoh at 8plus am. After a breakfast, we set off to see a beautiful cave and temple called Kek Lok Tong.

This sure beats last month's trip to Sam Poh Tong...this is way way nicer!!!

Grrrr....no pets allowed...No dog! No cat! No bunny?!?!?!

Very cooling in here....

The staircase up

This stalactite reminded me of that Captain Davy Jones in Pirates of the Carribean

The Cave opening

The magnificent view of the valley below surrounded by limestone hills

The staircase down to the valley....

They even have a stepping stone path to promote healthy reflexlogy lifestyle

The beautiful lotus pond. 1st time in my life, I see so many lotus plants...

A Lotus Bud

Some Lotus shots

After the flower fully opens, the petals comes off and leaves the pod containing the seeds.

Lotus Pod shot

They also have a tortoise and fish pond...in this case, no feeding allowed by visitors to prevent dirty water and over feeding...

My favorite lotus shot
